Solved. The culprit was Oracle jdk7. Back to Apple jdk6 (without forgetting to clean+compile before running). #playframework2

Using jdk 1.7.0_04, using jdk 1.6 provided by Apple, the helloworld sample app even doesn't show up. #playframework2
