Pour se ressourcer, rien de tel. Quel plaisir de remonter à la cabane des Dix. J’y étais passé en 2013 (!) sur le trajet de la Haute-Route. J’appréhendais le passage des échelles avec les skis mais elles ont été toutes refaites, trop facile maintenant!

Telling to your friends that you are going to ski in the Balkans, when you live in Switzerland, raises more than one eyebrow. We did try and faced challenges to actually find the snow. However, we tasted food you’d never find back home, we met truly welcoming people ready to invite us, foreigners unable to speak the language, to take part to their celebration dancing and drinking together. We kept having fun despite having sun and no snow or snow and no sun. We yelled our joy in the forest raiding the slope in deep powder. We laughed, we learned, we discovered. Thank you brother, these holidays have been a blast.

Reaching the top might be challenging, once there though the view is always rewarding. So happy and grateful to be able to enjoy these mountains all this week!
