C’est le surlendemain le plus dur. La tête un peu dans les choux, on se réhabitue à la vie de bureau mais le blues se fait sentir. 4 jours à gambader dans les montagnes, depuis le pas de ma porte jusque Interlaken en passant par quelques collines encore bien saupoudrées de neige, c’est clair qu’on aimerait que ça ne s’arrête pas!

Seeing this house from high above remind me the book "Facing the lion". Simone mentions a walk with her grandfather who teaches her a beautiful lesson. It was something like: "The plants we went by all below appeared to us as giants. Now they seem so little. Depending on how you look at things, it could seem to you as bigger than needed." Let's stay confident, strong and faithful.

Daunting climbs topped by breathtaking views, followed by never ending downhills. And repeat, repeat and repeat until you close the loop, 70km and 5400 meters of elevation later. Sometimes feeling like being on top of the world, speechless, eyes sparkling of joy, some other times, anxious and wondering if reaching the finish line would at all be possible (but that’s part of the game). Grateful to have been able to share this run with a friend. I mean, who could ask why we do this? Tired legs, banana-styled smile, I wanted to share a slice of my joy!

2 weeks filled.
Grateful to have been able to see the happiness of a dear friend starting a new life with his now wife.
Grateful to have been able to spend quality time with « a friend who sticks closer than a brother ». Many laughs, accolades and encouragements.
Grateful to have met new friends. This bond we get instantly thanks to the unity we benefit in our organisation is a feature I’m always astonished to witness.
Now back to work!

Pour se ressourcer, rien de tel. Quel plaisir de remonter à la cabane des Dix. J’y étais passé en 2013 (!) sur le trajet de la Haute-Route. J’appréhendais le passage des échelles avec les skis mais elles ont été toutes refaites, trop facile maintenant!
